Last updated: 2026-04-30. By using my-bitwarden.com you agree to the following.
My Bitwarden is an independent editorial site providing information about and download links to the Bitwarden password manager. We are not Bitwarden, Inc.; we don't operate the password manager service; we don't process credentials.
Information on this site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make best efforts to be accurate, but software changes — install instructions, security recommendations, and feature comparisons may become out of date. Verify critical decisions against Bitwarden's official documentation.
Download links route to third-party sources (GitHub Releases, Microsoft Store, Chrome Web Store, App Store, etc.). We don't host the installers, don't modify them, and aren't responsible for their content or behaviour. Bitwarden's source code is licensed under their source-available licence; using their software is subject to that licence.
"Bitwarden" is a registered trademark of Bitwarden, Inc. We use the name nominatively (referring to the product) under fair use. We are not authorised by Bitwarden, Inc. to act on their behalf.
Comparison pages may include affiliate links to alternative password managers. Clicking these and signing up may result in commission to us. This doesn't affect editorial conclusions — we recommend based on merit.
To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for damages arising from use of this site, the information provided, or the third-party software referenced. Use of any password manager — Bitwarden or otherwise — is at your own risk.
We link to external sites for reference. We don't endorse their content beyond what we say in our editorial; we have no control over their availability or accuracy.
These terms are governed by general principles of editorial publication and applicable consumer-protection law where the visitor is located. Jurisdiction-specific rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) are honoured per our privacy policy.
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be noted on the homepage. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
